→ History may be divided into three periods


→ Ancient Period is generally considered to be the period before the path country.


→ Arrival of the Turks in India.


→ Medieval Period is from the gaith century to the 18th century.

→The Modern Period is generally said to have Started in 18th century.


→ The modern area are industrialisation, wibanisa-tion, scientific, progress, colonisation, swift-transport and communication, democratic political systems, widespread literacy and large scale migration of people in search of new occupation.

Vista Fact! In 1408, the famous Portuguese explorer Vasco da Groma reached Calicut on the Malaban coast of India. Soon, the portuguese established trading centres in Groa, Daman & Diu.

#Modern Period In India


→The modern period began in the mid eighteenth Century.

→ The Mughal Empire collapsed completely after the Great Revolt against the fast India Company in 1857.

In 1858, the company was dissolved and the British Crown took direct control of India.


→In 1947 and India became a democratic republic
